Hollis Education Collective was founded by Toni, a licensed cosmetologist of over 22 years and a registered nurse with advanced training in scalp health, assessment, and holistic care. She is also the founder of a successful Japanese-inspired head spa, where her work has been refined through years of hands-on practice.

Toni’s approach to head spa education was shaped by a clear gap she observed early on: while clients are often diagnosed medically and sent home with clinical products, they are rarely given realistic, practical guidance on how to maintain scalp health between appointments. Hollis Education Collective was created to bridge that disconnect through education that is both science-informed and usable within a salon professional’s scope of practice.

Her signature, multi-sensory method blends traditional Japanese influences with intentional touch, hands-on technique, and research-backed scalp care principles. Rather than relying on tools or trends alone, Toni emphasizes the practitioner’s hands as the foundation of effective head spa work, supported by thoughtful product selection, calm therapeutic pacing, and ethical decision-making.
